Starting with 30 October 2009, CFR Călători is launching a new service “CFR Online Tickets”. This service offers the possibility to acquire CFR tickets in domestic traffic on the internet, paying online at all trains to all customers-juridical or physical person- which is registered on website: www.cfrcalatori.ro. All the necessary information will be sent on email, being accessible from the viewer profile.
The advantages of using this service
- you can save time, by avoiding the crowd from the stations or agencies, because it won’t be necessary to go to the booking offices to acquire the tickets.
- the online tickets are nominal, and the passengers can present themselves at the train with the tickets printed or with the ‘tickets ID’ plus the identity card. It is recommended that the clients present themselves with the printed ticket.
- you can acquire anytime and anywhere in the country 7 days from 7, only with anticipation between 3 and 30 days, for adults, children, pupils or students, at all trains that circulates with reservation regime in domestic traffic.
- you can pay online through a banking card, by using an electronic commerce product provided by Raiffeisen Bank.
Using the service by the travel agencies
- the travel agencies in quality of ‘authorized supplier’ have the possibility to sell online CFR tickets for their own clients.
- to become an ‘authorized supplier’ of this service it is necessary that the firm to have a tourism license and to conclude a service contract with CFR Calatori.
- using the service by the ‘authorized supplier’ it doesn’t suppose supplementary costs.
- you can use any PC connected to the Internet, and the tickets can be printed at any printer, being unnecessary special equipments.
Other details about the service
- to acquire other kind of CFR tickets or tariff offers that aren’t available through the ‘online CFR tickets’ service it is necessary to address directly at the CFR sell points.
- online CFR tickets don’t allow postponing, anticipation or interrupt the travel.
- the maximum number of passengers for whom it can be asked seats for in one online transaction it differs in function of the wagon type.
- if you desire to buy online CFR tickets for bigger groups, it is necessary to address directly to the sell offices of CFR Calatori.
At one time with the launch of this service, CFR Calatori is activating the new website of the company www.cfrcalatori.ro which allow the quick use of the services: ‘Online CFR tickets’ and ‘Online reservation’ (online seats reservation in domestic traffic for physical persons, without paying on the spot), but also the easy access of information about the offers and the services.
