Train information
CFR Călători would like to communicate that, from 13th of December 2009, lauches the „Travel Offer – Snow Trains 2009/2010” , valid until 28th of February 2010. This offer provides multiple travel options for winter sports lovers, traveling to / from the mountains, applying to all age categories and groups of minimum 10 people, being valid at:
- All trains that make the connection between Bucharest and the mountain resorts from Valea Prahovei: Sinaia, BuÅŸteni, Azuga, Predeal, BraÅŸov;
- Trains with destination Vatra Dornei from Bucharest, Suceava, IaÅŸi, Cluj Napoca and back;
- Trains that make the connection between Bucharest - Piatra Neamţ and back;
- Trains with destination Braşov from Galaţi, Cluj Napoca, Sibiu, Oradea and Suceava.
The tariff reductions are the following:
- This year's novelty consists in applying the tariff reduction of 20% from Monday to Thursday, for all categories of passengers, of any age, at 2nd class coaches, which run on direct route and have as departure/destination point, a railway station from the route Breaza-Braşov, the railway station Vatra Dornei or Piatra Neamţ.
- Tariff reduction of 25% at 2nd class coaches for group round trip (minimum 10 persons), by any train, on relations which have as departure/destination point, a railway station from the route Breaza-BraÅŸov, the railway station Vatra Dornei or Piatra NeamÅ£. This tariff reduction increases with 2% for every additional 8 persons, until groups of 50 persons (the tourist group travel offer „Snow Trains” will not apply to groups that benefit from another reduction). The round trip ticket is valid 30 days from the simple trip.
The tourist travel offer „Snow Trains” can be purchased from the CFR travel agencies or the booking offices inside the CFR railway stations in anticipation of up to 30 days.
Passengers who choose the "Snow Trains" offer are not eligible for other reductions granted on the basis of normative documents. The offer will be sold as basis option for those who do not benefit from other facilities.
