From March, the 20th ,2011, CFR Călători renews the season-tickets Offer validation to all categories of train .
Discount of up to 35% will be granted to new monthly season-tickets, valid 5, 10 or 15 days (not necessarily consecutive) as follows:
- 35% discount for the season-ticket no. 15 / season-ticket valid 15 days
- 25% discount for the season-ticket no 10 / season-ticket valid 10 days
- 15% discount for the season-ticket no 5 / season-ticket valid 5 days
Choosing a season-ticket, unquestionably gives besides the advantage of time and money, the confort advantage related to travel`s scheduling.

When buying such a season-ticket the passenger must fill in an application that would list the personal data, details on transport (route, type of train) and cleary the 5, 10 or 15 days in a month when the trips will be made.
The season-tickets, valid 5, 10 and 15 days are nominal tickets, issued to all types of trains: commuter, fast, express, or intercity, at the 2-nd class, on the tariff kilometer area up to 1,000 km.
The validity`s day is:
- from 0:00 to 23:59 of a the calendar day – and the journey can be made by trains that running between 0:00 - 23:59 between departure and destination stations, mentioned on the season-tickets ;
- from 12:00 a.m.of a the calendar day to 11:59p.m. of the following day – case in which the validity day will be mention in the form dd / yy - and the journey can be made by trains which run between departure and destination stations mentioned on the season-ticket from 12:00 the day zz - 01:59 from the day yy.
- from 0:00 to 23:59 of a the calendar day – and the journey can be made by trains that running between 0:00 - 23:59 between departure and destination stations, mentioned on the season-tickets ;
- from 12:00 a.m.of a the calendar day to 11:59p.m. of the following day – case in which the validity day will be mention in the form dd / yy - and the journey can be made by trains which run between departure and destination stations mentioned on the season-ticket from 12:00 the day zz - 01:59 from the day yy.
The season-ticket valid 5, 10 or 15 days does not give the right to anticipate or postpone the trip for other days than mentionned on the season-ticket.
Refund charges for “5, 10 or 15 days monthly season-ticket will be made only if it gives up before the beginning of the period of use, exclusively to the first day of validity, with a retention of 10% of the total amount.
Partial refund of the charge for the days when the season-ticket remained unused, is made only based on documentary evidence, in the following cases:
a) in case the season-ticket holder in hospitalized in medical facility – hospital, or detention by authorities, putting him in the inability to use the season-ticket;
b) in case the owner is is called for military service;
c) in case of death of the season-ticket holder, case in which the refund is made to the legal heirs”.
The season-ticket can be bought from the CFR railway stations and travel agencies in the country.
