CFR Călători would like to announce that the price for the offer “Travel card” was reduced by about 30%
The offer was launched in May 2008, addressing in particular to business people who choose to travel frequently by train and to commercial firms whose delegates made numerous trips over a period of six months or one year.
For commercial companies, the transferable nature is an advantage of this offer, as any employee of that institution can travel with the travel card anywhere in the country and with any rank of train.
From June 1, 2010, the price will be:
· 3.200 lei for a travel card valid for 6 months
· 6.000 lei for a travel card valid for 1 year
The travel card can be used only at 2nd class (regardless of rank of train) both by legal entities and individuals to any nation wide destination.
At high ranking trains (accelerated, fast, intercity),it is not required to purchase the seat reservation ticket, the travel card holder being able to occupy any vacancy on the train, but if you want to travel with a reserved seat, you have to purchase also the reservation ticket which costs 2.4 lei.
