For travelling in small groups consisting of 2 – 5 adults or as families, CFR Călători provides the customer with the offer „MINIGROUP 2-5”, by which DISCOUNTS up to 25% of full rate of transport are provided, as follows:
- 25 % discount per passenger for groups of 5 adult passengers;
- 20 % discount per passenger for groups of 4 adult passengers;
- 15 % discount per passenger for groups of 3 adult passengers;
- 10 % discount per passenger for groups of 2 adult passengers;
If the group also includes children / teenagers younger than 18 years at the date of travel, two children / teenagers are considered an “adult” in terms of tariff. Children / teenagers belonging to the mini-group are hereinafter called “young”. Therefore, with the “mini-group” offer, 2 teenagers receive 50% discount from the rate of an “adult”, reduced by the percentage corresponding to the respectively mini-group (depending on the number of people in the mini-group). In case of an odd number of teen-agers, one “young” is considered as one ”adult” in terms of tariff.
The groups for which “MINIGROUP 2-5” tickets are issued can also consist of only young people without the mandatory presence of an adult.
The „MINIGROUP 2-5” offer shall be issued only for travelling at 2nd class, with a single train of any rank.
For trains under reservation regime the booking fee for the seat shall be paid in fullfor each member of the group, including children / teenagers (each “young”) in the group.
Purchasing can be made only for traveling with 2nd class coaches, for a single train departing (boarding in circulating trains), only on Monday through Thursday for small groups ofadults and / or “young “person.
Issuing for berth coaches with 4 or 6 seats shall be made only for groups of more than 30 people. For a travelling in a berth coach supplements to all group members shall be issued.
Issuing is to be made only in advance, NOT on the day of departure (boarding in trains that circulate).
Traveling with 1st class, sleeping or berth coaches is not allowed
Discounts granted to the „mini-group” offer do not apply simultaneously with other facilities, established under in force laws (persons having the status of “pupil”, “student”, “retired”, etc.) or other company discounts (anticipated, loyalty, etc.).
According to “MINIGROUP 2-5” Offer, the passenger is entitled to:
- Travel on another route or by a train with a higher ranking, with full payment of fare differences for each group member, including children / teenagers ( each „young” person) in the group;
- Anticipate, delay or interrupt the travel according to the regulations on the amending of the contract of transport (data travel on the purchased ticket) only if the new date of travel or its’ continuation is in one of the weekdays from Monday to Thursday.
The MINIGROUP 2-5 offer is a specific „CFR Călători” trade offer, available to customers (passengers) only in trade terms.
