Retired persons benefit from 50% REDUCTION on the railway journey according to the law no. 147/2000. Law no 147/2000 regarding the reductions granted to the retired persons in domestic traffic, with subsequent amendments and additions, provides for the retired persons within the public pension system as well as for the retired persons from the other social insurance systems the granting of 6 simple trips, every year, with 50 % reduction of the rate established for railway trips by regio or interregio trains on the 2nd class.
