3. For passengers with bicycles travelling by trains with a reservation system offering a bicycle transport service, seats are allocated in the compartments next to the space intended for their storage.<\/p>\n

Non-folding bicycles can be transported on trains offering a bicycle transport service (for which there is a corresponding icon in the Train Schedule on the website www.cfrcalatori.ro<\/a>), for which a fee will be paid at the ticket offices, depending on the distance covered, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

5. Folding bicycles can be carried free of charge on all train, at 1st and 2nd class or sky equipment at 2nd class cars, as hand luggage, within the space available for hand luggage, provided they do not inconvenience others passengers (one folding bike or one pair of skis per person).
\nBicycles with one or both wheels removed are not considered folding bicycles and are treated as bulky baggage.<\/p>\n

6. If, when checking the legality of the journey, the train staff finds passengers with bicycles and do not submit the bicycle transport ticket, the tariff for large luggage will be applied, for the kilometer area corresponding to the passenger’s ticket (a bicycle is considered to have 15 kg).<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0In well-justified cases where the occupancy of the respective train is close to 100% or more, the train staff may prohibit the boarding of bicycle passengers, if they do NOT have bicycle tickets for the respective train.<\/p>\n

8. In case of organized groups of cyclists, they must submit a request at least 72 hours in advance, so that the specialized departments can take measures to organize the transport according to the available rolling stock.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
