The Unification Train shall connect Bucharest and Iaşi on the 24th of January, the Day of the Small Unification.
23rd of January 2018 Wednesday, on the 24th of January, in the Centenary Year, the railway employees from the whole country, together with all Romanians, celebrate 159 years from the Unification of the Romanian Principalities under the rule of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, the first step towards the creation of the Romanian unitary national state. Railway employees, passengers, members of the Club of Railway Fans and of the bike tourists’ community shall take the message of the Romanian’s unity from Bucharest to Iaşi with a train named symbolically the Unification Train. By train to Divertiland Park!
During this summer season, several trains provide the connection between Bucharest and Divertiland – the largest water park and playground in the country. The trains arrive at the destination in about 25 minutes and the price of an „adult ticket”, 2nd class, is 3.9 lei. Pupils and students benefit a 50% discount, so a ticket is 1.95 lei.
