How can I buy?

The ticket vending machines are easy to use, by means of touchscreen.

The ticket can be bought in a very short time, by following a simple procedure: choose the travel data, the route, the type of train and the ticket for the seat.

The ticket vending machines offer a wide range of services:

  • Informing the passenger with regard to the train timetable (departure and arrival times for the trains)
  • Selling train tickets
  • Buying tickets and passes up to 30 days in advance, including for the return trip
  • Payment by card of the purchased tickets and printing the corresponding receipt for the banking transaction.

Important! Payment for the tickets may be made only by card.

How do I buy a ticket?

Choose the travel data, the route, the type of train and the ticket for the seat.

The tickets purchased from the ticket vending machines have the same regime as the tickets purchased from any ticket office in the stations.

Attention! The ticket vending machines print a ticket for each passenger. If not all the tickets which you paid for are printed or any other problems appear, you may address the CFR Călători commercial staff (shift manager, station manager) from the respective station.

Which type of tickets can I buy from the ticket vending machines?

The following types of tickets can be purchased: full price tickets, tickets for children, tickets for pupils, round trip tickets, for the 1st and 2nd classes, including for berth and sleeper coaches.

Can I buy passes?

Yes, you can also purchase weekly and monthly passes.

The passes may be purchased in any day of the month, at any hour, with a 30 day advance from the validity start date, for any type of train, for any distance.
