Given the closure of the railway line Constanța – Mangalia for works on the railway infrastructure, carried out by the infrastructure manager – CNCF CFR SA, the movement of passenger trains on this route is suspended during 1st of October 2025 – February 2nd, 2026.

In this context, as of 1st of October 2025, CFR Călători will provide a replacement service of the railway transport with buses, to ensure passengers’ travel on Constanța – Mangalia route and back, based on the tickets purchased under the same conditions as during the train operation period.

Please find below the bus schedule (RA code) for the period 1st of October 2025 – December 13, 2025, noting that the departure/arrival times in stations along their route, as well as the applied fares, can be viewed on the website www.cfrcalatori.ro, in „Details/Price” section of the timetable, when searching for trains on the desired route:

Constanța – Mangalia

  • RA 8381: Constanța (departure hour 06:25) – Mangalia (arrival hour 07:44), instead of train R 8381
  • RA 8385: Constanța (departure hour 09:45) – Mangalia (arrival hour 11:04), instead of train R 8385
  • RA 8389: Constanța (departure hour 14:22) – Mangalia (arrival hour 15:41), instead of train R 8389
  • RA 8393: Constanța (departure hour 17:05) – Mangalia (arrival hour 18:24), instead of train R 8393
