The international train 461/460 “Romania” will provide daily direct connections between Bucharest and Turkey between June 13 and October 12, 2026.
Thus, from June 13, 2026, travelers will be able to reach Istanbul/Halkali directly.
Through these direct international routes, CFR Călători supports passengers who choose to spend their holidays or vacations in Turkey, offering a comfortable and affordable travel option.
The price of a Bucharest North – Istanbul/Halkali ticket (or return), in a 4-seat sleeper car, is 57.8 euros.

Tickets can be purchased up to 90 days in advance from CFR Călători stations and agencies open to international traffic, as well as online, directly from www.cfrcalatori.ro, from the international traffic purchase section .

Tickets can be picked up from the station or delivered by courier throughout Romania.

Also, for trips to Turkey, the Interrail offer can be used, both in the continuous and flexi version. Interrail tickets are available at the ticket offices in CFR Călători stations and agencies with international traffic sales.
