Payment may be made with any type of card accepted when purchasing train tickets online.
The customer registers on the website, chooses the destination and selects the method of payment online, by credit card.
After the transaction is complete, the customer will receive the ticket by mail, in electronic version.
Ticket printing is not mandatory, the customer being identifiable on board train just based on her/his identity card and the ID of the ticket.

The purchase, modification or refund of domestic traffic tickets bought ONLINE can be done until the departure of the train at the latest.

SNTFC “CFR CĂLĂTORI” SA has implemented a new functionality in the application available for the phone “CFR Călători billete online”, which allows travelers with travel subscriptions issued on a transport card or in the form of a dynamic QR code associated with a mobile device, to purchase reservation tickets and/or fare differences directly from the application downloaded on the phone, when they want to travel on trains that have a reservation regime, during the validity period of the subscription.
On the train, it is mandatory to present the subscription based on which the reservation ticket was issued, respectively the transport card or the dynamic QR code of the subscription from the “CFR Călători billete online” application installed on the phone.
